Ganesha also known as Ganapati or Vinayaka, is one of the best-known and most worshiped deities in the Hindu pantheon.
Ganesha is widely revered as the remover of obstacles, the patron of arts and sciences and the deva of intellect and wisdom. As the god of beginnings, he is honored at the start of rites and ceremonies.
This sculpture is made for an Indian festival "Ganesh Chaturthi". The celebration varied from 1.5 over to 11 days. At the end of this celebration its a customary that Ganesh idol is to be immersed in the water.
This year I decided to keep this Ganesh sculpture eco friendly in best possible ways. The idol contains Lemon seeds, and I am planning to immerse this idol in a garden pot and hoping to raise Lemon tree.
